It opens up without tools for maintenance. The display itself is a backlit LED display. The touch configuration supports up to ten-finger touch gestures—a feature I got to try out with a SolidWorks CAD demo on the fully loaded Z1. The system was incredibly quiet for something with all that horsepower—largely because of the internal engineering, which includes six separate cooling zones with their own micro-fans. Naturally, expandability is a trade-off with an all-in-one.
