http://ift.tt/1p78SCR http://ift.tt/1eLetoG Apple Lightning to USB Cable Works 100% with iPhone 5 The 3 feet-0.9 meter length lets you easily reach a USB port on the front or back of most computers. Light-weight and easily coiled, you can carry this cable wherever you go. Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging This AmazonBasics product features Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging that is recyclable. It comes without excess packaging materials such as hard plastic clamshell casings, plastic bindings, or wire ties. The packaging is designed to be opened without the use of a box cutter or knife, and it will protect your product just as well as traditional packaging. Products with Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging can frequently be shipped in their own boxes, without an additional shipping box, saving on resources and reducing waste. Charging-Sync Cable Compatible with iPhone 5, iPad mini, iPad 4th generation, iPod 5th generation, and iPod nano 7th generation Charges the iPod, iPhone, or iPad with Lightning connector and syncs with your computer through an available USB port Light-weight and easily coiled Easily reach a USB port on the front or back of most computers or wall adapters Kudos to Amazon for being first-to-market with a cheaper alternative to the Apple branded cord. There's no reason you should not buy this cord. In fact, I personally prefer the black cord to Apple's white. Also, it works with Apple's wall plug. This cable is Apple approved and uses a Lightning connector that is 100% identical to the original cable's plug. It is made of one solid continuous metal shielding and looks and feels exactly like the original one. However, the black encasing is bulkier, being wider, thicker and also longer than its Apple counterpart. The cable is the exact same length as the Apple cable and works perfectly with my iPhone 5. For $5 less I'll pick this cable up any day. The ONLY thing I could possibly think of that would be a deterrent is that the lightning plug end is slightly fatter (on the black part) than the original Apple cord's version. So if you are squeezing your Apple cord between somthing to get to the phone, then this might not make it through. That being said, I have an OtterBox Defender case on my iPhone 5 and it fits without any problems. http://ift.tt/1eLetoG http://ift.tt/1p78SCT
